Granix

A drug that contains the active ingredient filgrastim and is used to treat severe neutropenia (a condition in which there is a lower-than-normal number of white blood cells) caused by some types of chemotherapy. Granix is used in adults and in children aged 1 month and older who have certain cancers. It helps the bone marrow make more white blood cells. Granix is a type of colony-stimulating factor.
